Defender Security U 9539 Deadbolt Strike Plate, 4-7/8 in L, 1-1/4 in W, Steel, Brass

The Defender 4-7/8 in armored security box strike is constructed of steel and it comes in a brass-plated finish. It features a 1 in deep box with a 3/4 in W x 1-5/8 in H rectangular opening on the faceplate and it comes with four 2 in zinc-plated screws. Base plate of this high-security box strike installs with two screws that insert through the base of the box to secure directly into 2 x 4 in framing. Another pair of screws insert through the finished faceplate, the secondary base plate and fasten into the doorjamb. This armored security strike will add increased security to the weakest point of a locked hinged door, providing ease of mind while present or away from home or office. Some mortising will be required for complete installation. Included with this item are the installation screws, one zinc-plated box strike and one brass-plated faceplate.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
